Through the Crop Protection area, we generate information on the use of agrochemicals in the control of diseases, pests and weeds, tools that contribute greatly to the results in the field, in addition to directly affecting production costs.

In this area, we have three sectors that work with research:

Entomology - performs pest control, monitoring and management work on soybean, corn, rice, sunflower, sorghum, wheat, sugarcane and cotton crops;

Phytopathology and Herbology - evaluate different control managements for the main diseases and weeds of extensive crops.
